Lockleaze School

This looks a really good project. There is basically lots of bits we can do around the school to help as before the current caretaker there wasn't a caretaker for 18 months. There are small borders around the buildings that need digging out as they are going to be concreted, lots of little areas needing bushes cut back and lots of general tidying. The caretaker will be there over the weekend and said that they'll take as many or as few volunteers as we can give them! He is also going to try and come up with some inside jobs for if it is raining. Also they have a shredding machine and a compost heap so they can get rid of any garden waste we create.

6 Rackman Close

This is a garden job and so is low priority. I think we could remove the rubbish fairly easily and quickly.
there are lots of brambles along the path which he would like removed.
and even more brambles out the back.

I made no promises.

Filton Avenue Juniors

We have requests from Filton Avenue Junior school for first time.
again the caretaker is off sick.
they have asked if we can paint/stain their benches in the play ground. clean up the flower beds, remove a wooden contaption off the wall and paint/stain the fence.
we need to get back to them so they can sort out materials.

Filton Avenue infants

A few bits to do at the infants.
The caretaker is off sick.
so there is weeding to be done in all the flower beds.
Also a couple of the murals are falling apart so Ann would like us to take them down... leaving the framework behind them and then put up some new blank boards.
The children have an arts week in june when they could paint them.

Gainsborough Square etc litter pick

Litter picking the waste ground should be a fairly quick job + the usual alley ways behind Conder House and Nash drive.

Garages behind Orpen Gardens

Another fly tipping hotspot. Loads of rubbish and it is visible from Purdown as people walk by.
